The pianos of the Italian brand ORLA are now available from FX Music Group. These instruments combine modern technologies with classic sound, which may interest both professional musicians and people learning to play the piano.

ORLA pianos are instruments built with comfort of play and faithful reproduction of sound in mind. The “hammer graded action” keyboard provides realistic feelings during playing, resembling the operation of a traditional acoustic piano. This is especially important for people who need an instrument with the right dynamics, allowing for the free expression of musical emotions.

Thanks to the availability of these pianos on the Polish market, musicians gain new options when it comes to choosing an instrument that combines solid workmanship with modern technical solutions. ORLA is a brand that has been successfully operating on the market for years, and the door-to-door service provides users with a sense of security and ease in solving any technical problems. Joyo Orthros: Multifunctional guitar effect switcher

Are you looking for an effective way to manage your guitar effects? Meet the Joyo JF-24 Orthros Selector, an advanced audio track selector that offers users the ability to switch between different effects, amplifiers, and even instruments without losing sound quality.

Joyo Orthros is a modern tool for guitarists that responds to the need to effectively manage the multiplexing of audio signals. Thanks to the use of two separate effects loops and six operating modes, users can easily switch between different configurations without the risk of active effects influencing each other. This eliminates the need to manually change the settings of individual effects pedals, which is a common problem in traditional setups.

Joyo Orthros is equipped with two adjustable LEVEL Control knobs that allow you to adjust the volume of each line (Line Loop A and Line Loop B) independently. This gives you the ability to precisely control the level of the outgoing signal, which is especially useful during concerts and recording sessions. The device’s six available operating modes (A/B, A/BYPASS, B/BYPASS, A/B/BYPASS, A+B/BYPASS, A/B/BYPASS) enable users to get the most out of their guitar effects. This makes it possible to easily experiment with different sound configurations, from simple switches between effects to more complex effect chains.

Joyo Orthros is a response to the needs of modern guitarists looking for an easy-to-use, yet flexible effect management solution. Whether in the studio or on stage, Orthros offers a smoothness and performance quality that can greatly impact the efficiency and quality of the music you create.

New Duesenberg guitar models for 2024!

New Duesenberg guitar models for 2024!

In 2024, Duesenberg presented a range of new electric and bass guitars that impress with both their quality and innovation. Some of them are already available in Polish music stores. So let’s check what surprises await you…

Duesenberg continues its commitment to exceptional sound, providing musicians with the tools to explore new areas of musical expression. The new models include a wide range of guitars designed to meet the diverse needs of artists, from warm vintage tones to sharp, modern sounds.

One of the most interesting additions to the product line is the Duesenberg Julietta, an elegantly crafted single-cut guitar with bolt-on construction, available in both standard and baritone versions. Julietta stands out with its dynamic duo of pickups: a powerful humbucker and a subtle-sounding P-90, offering a wide spectrum of tonal possibilities. It is available in a variety of finishes, including the new, refined Catalina Black. This model combines sophisticated aesthetics with musical versatility, while retaining Duesenberg’s signature features, such as iconic details and a commitment to original, retro-inspired shapes.

For lovers of modern sounds, Duesenberg introduced the Fantom series as the brand’s first instruments with a shorter scale length of 625 mm. The Duesenberg Fantom Series S features a select mahogany body and neck, as well as a flamed maple top, which adds to their unique aesthetic. Duesenberg Grand Vintage II pickups deliver warm and clean vintage tones, and this guitar is equipped with an innovative volume pre-selection system for the neck pickup, offering a new sonic dimension.

Additionally, the company has introduced Fairytale Lap Steel in Harbor Green & White, a beautiful combination of attention to detail and craftsmanship. The Fairytale features a single-piece mahogany body, integrated capo and Multibender system, offering a unique tone and characteristic sound. The combination of a Duesenberg GrandVintage humbucker and a SingleTwin Domino pickup produces a unique sound, making this model a unique addition to any musician’s collection.

The new additions also include a bass model called the Kavalier Bass, which represents a compact, mid-scale design, offering a wide range of sounds in a discreet package. This bass features a solid ash construction, providing a powerful hit, fast attack and long sustain. It is equipped with a custom Phonico Splitbucker pickup, which, thanks to innovative electronics, allows you to obtain three unique sounds from one pickup. Kavalier Bass offers a 30.5-inch scale that combines playing comfort with richness of tone, thus opening the sonic palette from deep, resonant low to transparent high tones. These novelties show that Duesenberg is constantly looking for ways to enrich the musical experience, offering instruments with high-quality workmanship and unique sound characteristics.

PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin: Most affordable PRS guitar!

PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin: Most affordable PRS guitar!

PRS has revealed a new model of the PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin electric guitar, which arouses great interest among guitarists. The extremely affordable price makes it the best entry point into the PRS brand. But does this also mean a big compromise? It looks like not!

The CE family of guitars has been an integral part of PRS history since their first introduction in 1988. Now, in 2024, the PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin becomes the most affordable guitar in the CE series – approximately 575 euros at launch! This guitar, like many other models in the SE line, was a passion project of Jack Higginbotham, PRS Chief Operating Officer.

“It is difficult to briefly describe SE CE 24 Standard Satin. The price of this guitar suggests that it is probably a great beginner guitar – it is. But I imagine for some this also means that it lacks certain qualities – it doesn’t. This guitar is full of the attention to detail that has gone into the SE series: the neck, pickups, playability and feel are pure PRS. Furthermore, this new satin finish makes the guitar very vibrant since it is so thin, but it is also extremely durable so it can withstand some abuse. It’s the quintessential player’s guitar.” – comments Jack Higginbotham

Specifications

The PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin features a mahogany body, a bolt-on maple neck and a 10-inch radius rosewood fingerboard with signature PRS Bird inlays. All of these features are typical of the more expensive PRS Core models, making these guitars an attractive choice at a much lower price. Available colors include Vintage Cherry, Turquoise and Charcoal, which look elegant with matching black plastics and nickel-plated hardware. PRS claims that the thin satin finish ensures the instrument’s high resonance, while the semi-matte finish of the maple neck ensures comfortable playing.

Pickups and hardware

These models feature 85/15 “S” humbucking pickups, controlled by a volume knob, tone knob with push/pull function, and a 3-position pickup switch. This is a typical PRS arrangement, proven to provide a versatile sound. Hardware also includes special PRS-designed tuners and a patented tremolo system, providing a solid setup that can withstand heavy use.

Final thoughts

Considering all this information, it’s hard not to be impressed with the new model, especially considering its price. The guitar will certainly be a tasty treat for both gigging musicians and those starting their adventure with electric. All we can do is wait for availability in Poland and the final price.
